Tech Sgt. Luke Christian Andrew Ford, 31, Whitman Air Force Base,
passed away Saturday, July 30, 2005, at the Research Medical Center,
Kansas City.
He was born Sept. 3, 1973, in Fullerton, Calif., to the son of the
late Mark W. Ford and Madeline L. Felt Ford. On May 28, 1994, he
married Lori Burnett in Lowry City.
Tech Sgt. Ford was an active member of the U.S. Air Force for the past
13 years and was stationed at Whiteman AFB. He was an Airman
Leadership School Instructor at the base. He was a member of the Tier
2 Organization at Whiteman AFB and the Warrensburg Community Band. He
was a member of the Northside Christian Church of Warrensburg.
Survivors include his wife, Lori, two sons, Nathan and Christian Ford,
all of the home; his mother, Madeline Ford, Cottage Grove, Ore.; and
three brothers, Mark W. Ford, Jr., Pampa, Texas; Albert P. Ford, Costa
Mesa, Calif.; and Matthew L. Ford, Cottage Grove, Ore.
His father preceded him in death on July 11, 2001.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 5, at the Northside
Christian Church, Warrensburg. Interment will be in the Missouri
Veteran’s Cemetery, Higginsville, with full military honors provided
by the Whiteman AFB Color Guard.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Children’s Education Fund
