LEO D. BEARDSLEE

Leo D. Beardslee, 84, Osceola, died Saturday, April 29, 2006, at
Golden Valley Hospital in Clinton. He was a lifelong resident and a
retired farmer. Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 3, at the
Sheldon-Goodrich Chapel in Osceola. Burial will be in the Lowry City
Cemetery.

Leo Donald Beardslee was born April 5, 1922, to Clyde and Edna Akers
Beardslee, the fifth of eight children. He passed away April 29, 2006.
He was a life long resident of St. Clair County where he farmed with
his parents.
Leo is survived by two brothers, Gene Beardslee, Kansas City and Earl
Beardslee, Osceola; one sister, Jane Beardslee Mumford, Irving, Texas;
and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Bob and Eldon
Beardslee and two sisters, Maxine Beardslee Kenyon and Margaret
Beardslee Drake.
Services for Leo were May 3 in the Sheldon-Goodrich Chapel with Randy
Sheldon officiating.
Musical selections were "When The Roll Is Called Up Yonder" and "Peace
In The Valley" with Donna Carney, vocalist and Gail Ingle,
accompanist.
Casketbearers were Mike Beardslee, Leo Beardslee, Mary Hyde, Paul
Beardslee, Bob Beardslee, and Donnie Drake.
Interment was in the Lowry City Cemetery under the direction of
Sheldon-Goodrich Funeral Home, Osceola.
