Funeral services were held for Lena E. Hooker, 47, on Saturday, November 9 at the Eckhoff Funeral Home with Reverend Joe Wix officiating. Pallbearers were Michael Bean, David Bean, Dennis Williamson, Michael Williamson, Normie Williamson and David Miller. Interment was in the Harmony Cemetery under the direction of Eckhoff Funeral Home.
Lena E. (Bean) Hooker, a life-long resident of St. Clair County, was born February 19, 1927, to Ernest S. and Martha Bean. She died November 7, 1974, at the age of 47 years, eight months and 18 days. On October 17, 1942, she married Raymond Hooker and to this union five children were born. Mrs.
Hooker was preceded in death by two children, Linda and Pauline Hooker, and two brothers. She is survived by her husband of the home; three children, Bobby Hooker, Susie Hooker and Donald Hooker; her parents; one grandchild; five sisters and four brothers.
