JOYCE A. FOSTER

September 3, 1932 - September 3, 2005 - Joyce Alberta Foster, daughter
of William David and Ethel Mae (Ruby) Rowland, was born September 3,
1932 in Bay City, Texas. She passed away September 3, 2005 at Country
Club Care Center in Warrensburg, Missouri at 73 years of age. Joyce
spent her early childhood years in Fort Worth, Texas moving later to
Clinton, Missouri where she was a 1951 graduate of Clinton High
School. Joyce was united in marriage to Dean Audrey Foster February
21, 1952 in Appleton City, Missouri and made there home in Cambridge,
England while he served in the U.S. Air Force. In 1954 they moved back
to the U.S. residing in Appleton City until Dean’s death in 1998 at
which time she moved to Knob Noster, Missouri. Mrs. Foster had been
employed as an office worker at various times but had been happy to be
a homemaker, wife and mother. She was a member of the Apple Dumplings
Square Dance Club in Appleton City and a member of the First Christian
Church in Knob Noster. Joyce loved spending time with her
grandchildren. She liked cats and enjoyed sewing and quilting. She had
sewed many of her square dancing outfits. Preceding Joyce in death
were her parents and husband. Survivors include two sons, David Foster
and wife Regina of El Dorado Springs, Missouri and Rusty Foster and
wife Terrie of Knob Noster, Missouri; one sister Billie Young of
Greenville, South Carolina; three grandsons, Ryan Foster and wife
Shena of Maryville, Missouri and Christopher Foster and wife Sara of
El Dorado Springs, Missouri and Aaron Foster of Knob Noster, Missouri;
and two great-grandsons, Charlie and Wyatt Foster of El Dorado
Springs, Missouri.
