A Fatal Accident
Jesse Games, son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. John Reid of this city, met
his death in a railway accident near Rockville, last Friday morning,
an account of which is given elsewhere in this paper in connection
with his obituary.
Mr. Games was killed by the morning Flyer and the direct cause will
probably never be known. The body was taken to Nevada on the train
that caused his death, at which place it was prepared for burial and
brought to this city Friday night and was taken to the home of John
Reid. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, conducted by Elder
Carpenter. Interment was made in the city cemetery.
A large number of railroad men with their families were here to attend
the funeral service, most of them coming from Nevada, Clinton and
Sedalia.
