James Charles Hendricks was born near Caplinger Mills, Mo., January 16, 1934 and departed this life April 6, 1942 at Pacific Grove, California at the age of 8 years, 2 months and 21 days.
He was killed when a motor car struck the bicycle he was riding.
He leaves to mourn his loss his parents Mr. and Mrs. Lester Hendricks, four brothers, Marvin Earl, Arbie George, Jackie Ray an Harold Eugene, all of Pacific Grove, and a sister, Mrs. Gerald Langdon of Appleton City and three grandparents. Also a host of friends.
Funeral services were conducted at the Assembly of God church in Johnson City Sunday afternoon April 12 by the Rev. Vada Lines. Burial was in Harmony Cemetery under the direction of the Osceola Funeral Home.
Flower girls were Elizabeth Motley, Jane McClellan, Velda Dines, Vesta Dines, Berlena Jones and Edith Mae Carroll.
Pall bearers were Archie Fitch, Theo Carroll, Eugene Dines and Marvin Dines.
