Howard Inskeep dies July 31
Funeral services were held Sunday Aug 3, at Goodrich funeral Home for
Howard Edward Inskeep. 69, route one, Appleton City, who died July 31,
at Sae-Osage Hospital, Osceola, following a heart attack.
Rev. Admiral Phillips officiated at the service and burial was made in
Kidds Chapel cemetery. Linda Walte accompanied the soloist, Basil
Wharry.
Pallbearers were, Archie Carroll, Flavil Dines, Harry Davis, Dick
Woody, Woodrow Harris and F.O. Ryan.
Mr. Inskeep, son of Edward and Catherine Inskeep, was born Oct. 8,
1899. He grew to manhood in St. Clair county and were a farmer and
stockman all his life.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge for almost 40 years. He was
converted in a meeting at Chalk Level early in life.
His marriage to Cora Chiles occurred Dec. 19, 1923
Survivors are his wife, Cora; one son, Lecil, daughter in law Lois;
three grandchildren, Becky, Jackie and Cathy; one brother William
Inskeep Osceola; four sisters, Edith Creed, Klamath Falls, Ore.,
Hallie Chiles, Osceola, Esther Jones, Adrian and Nina Ginter, Butler.
