HARRY OWEN DONNOHUE

Harry Owen Donnohue, Appleton City was born February 21, 1914, and
passed away November 8, 2005.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerome T. and Minnie Dellar
Donnohue, brothers Vern Guy and Albert Jerome Donnohue and his wife,
Julia Miller Donnohue.
He is survived by his daughter Ann D. Wallace and her husband Webb L.
Wallace, Santa Fe., N.M.; grandson Michael R. Wallace and his wife
Kate, Little Rock, Ark.; granddaughter Lindsley Lee and her husband
Rob and great grandchildren Ryan and Meaghan Lee, Santa Fe, N.M.;
nephews, Don Donnohue, Appleton City, Dick Gulick and David Gulick,
St. Louis; niece Gayle Breaux, Denver, Colo.; Kay Overfelt Miller and
William Bill Miller, Centralia; James Scott Miller, Leawood, Kans.,
and Martin Kent Miller, Cape Girardeau.
Harry graduated from Appleton City High School and Kirksville State
Teachers College. For a time he taught and was principal of Centralia
High School. From 1941 until his retirement in 1976 he was employed by
the A.B. Chance Company in Centralia. He was a life member of Moolah
Temple Shrines, Rotary Club member since 1936, member of the Grand
Lodge A.F. and A.M. of Missouri and Three Rivers Council of Boy Scouts
of America. He served as an elder of the Centralia Christian Church
and for the last two years had been active in the Christian Church of
Appleton City.
Harry was a faithful Christian, devoted to his family, loyal to his
friends and enriched the life of all who knew him.
