Gordon Lyle Kinney, 72, Collins, died peacefully and with dignity on Thursday, Aug. 10, 2006, surrounded by loved ones.
Born in Detroit, he raised his family near Washington, D.C., then retired to Collins to live his dreams, tending trees and wildlife on a small country farm. He was a good man who led a happy and full life.
Gordon was preceded in death by his parents and sister and is survived by his wife, three children, four grandchildren and a host of extended family. He will be greatly missed.
Services for Gordon were private.
