Arthur Gilkeson Service Jan. 28, 1960
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon, Jan. 28, at 2 p.m. at the Goodrich Funeral Chapel in Osceola for Arthur Ray Gilkeson, 48, who died Monday following a heart attack.
Mr. Gilkeson, who had been employed by the Missouri Public Service company since Jan. 1, 1935, had been in ill health for some time. He had been an active member of the Osceola Fire Department.
Rev. Arthur Olson, pastor of the Methodist church in Osceola, and James Fulton of Clinton will officiate at the services.
Born March 31, 1911, at Rockville, Mr. Gilkeson was the son of Joseph E. and Emma B. Lair Gilkeson.
Survivors are his wife, Irene; a son, Kenneth of Liberty; a grandchild, and a brother, E.L. Gilkeson of Osceola.
