Mrs. Aleene R. Giesler, 81, Osceola, died Tuesday, April 5, 2005 at her home. The widow of Dr. Don Giesler, she had been an Osceola area resident since 1960. She was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, assisted her husband in the Tri-County Clinic and later was a staff member of the Sac-Osage Hospital in Osceola. She was a member of Osceola First Baptist Church, the University
of Missouri Jefferson Club, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Retired Army Nurse Corps Association. Survivors include her daughter, Juliana Holloway; two step-daughters, Dina Giesler and Deborah Sherwin; a sister Dorothy Davis; other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be Thursday, April 7, 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Osceola. Burial will be in Osceola Cemetery, under the direction of Sheldon-Goodrich Funeral Home, Osceola.
