Mrs. John Beard, familiarly known as Aunt Margaret Beard, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ed Carpenter, in Oklahoma, last Monday. She was brought to Pleasant Springs for burial, Bro. James Kirkland preaching the funeral sermon. Two sons, Hugh and Earl Beard live near Roscoe, and one son Harry, is in the West.
