This community was made sad last Saturday when the news came that Henry Johnson was dead. Mr. Johnson's team ran away with him last week and mashed his hand. Drs. Smith of Osceola and Divine of Appleton City were summoned at once. They dressed the hand but on Wednesday blood poison had set in and he was taken to Kansas City where everything possible was done for him but to no avail. He leaves a wife and several children to mourn his loss. Each and every one in this community extends heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family.
