Buys Commercial Hotel

L.C. Runyen, of Nevada, completed a deal Friday morning whereby he purchased the furnishings of the Commercial Hotel at Osceola, from Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Davies. He also obtained a ten-year lease on the building.
Mr. Runyen will take possession of the hotel on October 15th.
The new hotel operator has had previous experience in running a hotel, having operated one in Miami, Okla., but the past two years has been traveling for the Ozark Motor Supply Co., of Springfield. He has been stopping in Osceola regularly on his rounds.
Mr. and Mrs. Davies came to Osceola two years ago last July 21, and have been widely complimented for the efficient and courteous manner in which they have conducted the business. Friends of Mr. and Mrs. Davies will regret to learn they are leaving.
For the present, Mr. and Mrs. Davies have no plans for the immediate future, but believe they will ultimately go to Texas where their son lives.
