Davenport Bros., the new blacksmiths, are doing a good business.

A goodly number of Taberites sojourned at Monegaw the past week.

Mrs. Nellie Thomas, nee Estes, returned to her home in Benton county Friday.

Mr. Lukinbill of Kansas City, cousin of Mrs. Henry Hartman, is visiting at the home of the latter.

John Heath and wife, after a week’s visit with relatives, returned to their home in Cooper county.

Dr. Jennings is acting in the capacity of both postmaster and pharmacist in the absence of Dr. Boots.

John Greeson and sister, Miss Liza, have been on the sick list the past week. Both are reported improving.

Dr. G.H. Gayer, who recently came to our midst, is building up a good practice. Success to you, Doctor.

Mrs. Schleischman and son of Amoret, Mo., are visiting at the home of L.A. Williams. Mrs. Williams is a daughter of Mrs. Schleischman.

John A. Gilbreath of Appleton was in town Friday morning on loyal business. While here he entertained the boys an hour or so in his usual style.
