Elected Committeewoman
Pursuant to call of the County Chairman of the democratic Central Committee, the women of Osceola Township met in the Circuit Court room last Tuesday afternoon and elected Mrs. T.M. Johnson as Committeewoman from this township to serve until next election, at which time her successor will be chosen in the same manner as the members of the committee have been in the past.

Mrs. O.L. Housley and son, Howard, who formerly resided in this city but who now make their home in Kansas City, were the latter part of the week, guests in the home of Mr. and Mrs. F.J. Husted and son, Frank, and also of numerous other friends. The family left here something like six years ago and this is the first time Mrs. Hously has been back, but Howard has returned each summer for a visit with Frank Husted.

Miss Essie Faurot returned Wednesday morning from St. Louis, where she spent the past few weeks looking over the latest creations in the millinery line and making selections for the store here. Their new Fall goods will be on display in a short time.
