Letter From Mrs. Riley
Following is an extract from a letter received by Dr. F.H. Riley, from Mrs. Riley, who is near Warren, Idaho:
Dear Husband,
Stanley McClain and Dutton Chaney came yesterday from Warren and brought your letter one day ahead of the regular mail day, delivery of mail only comes out here on Mondays and Thursdays. Dutton and Stanley are staying at the Ranger station waiting to go out on forest fires. There has not been so many this year, so far. We sure had a downpour the biggest since I have been here. I have to walk one half mile to get your letters and get mine from you. The boys are always ready for and get a great kick out of the papers you send us.
With love,
Ella.
