Osceola, MO 7 June 1962 NEIGHBORHOOD NEWS: Jonice Putnam is helping this week with a youth group, the Chi-Rho Christian camp at El Dorado Springs. Richard Rider will be preaching Sunday at the Pleasant Valley Christian church. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Veach and family, Mr. and Mrs. John Veach and family and Howard Veach spent the weekend in the Ben Veach home. Mr. and Mrs. Bud Foale and daughters called on Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Thomas and Gary Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Thomas and Gary were Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Edith Foale. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Leiber and family visited Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Thomas and Gary Sunday evening. Tommy Harden was an afternoon caller in the same home. Visitors last week in the in the Joe Green home were Mr. and Mrs. Dawson Green, Delbert Green and Mrs. Louise Keith and two daughters. Delbert stayed for several days visit with his brothers, Joe, Elmer and Clate Green. Bilie Green and family also visited his parents last week. Mr. and Mrs. Jake Flitcher spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Doyal Denham. DAMASCUS: Mrs. Claud Sherman returned to her home Friday after spending two months in Osceola Medical Hospital. Last report she is getting along nicely. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Woolery of Lowry City visited Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Allen of Leavenworth, Kas., and Marilyn and Roma Walker were Thursday dinner guests in the home of Clyde Walker. Afternoon visitors in the same home were Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Walker. Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Cleveland spent from Friday until Sunday afternoon in the home of their daughter, Mrs. Keith Davis, and family at Rich Hill.
