Prairie Home:
Everyone is busy as can be raising chickens, gardening, house cleaning, but completion of house cleaning is hoped to be near as we do dislike to work such sultry days as "'good old summer time"' furnishes.

Mr. and Mrs. Russel Duncan and son Lester, spent Saturday night and Sunday with Mrs. Duncan's parents, J.F. Nunns.

Misses Gladys Waters and Elizabeth Jackson spent Saturday night and Sunday with Russie Morris.

Dan Thompson is terribly dissatisfied and becoming worse all the time. He says he doesn't like Missouri near so well as something like three months ago. We can't understand why he should blame Missouri. We rather think it is not "'Misery"' this one time, but just part of population gone West. Cheer up Dan it won't be long till fall.

Will Moore has hardly decided what girl he likes best. We think where the trouble is - is that he "'likes 'em all"', and can't go without two at a time. But Willie Marshall says if he is a Socialist, to practice what he preaches and divide. Let him have one girl. "'Luck to you both"'.

Mrs. Bert Ridgway and little daughter Ruby, were pleasant callers at Billy Allinson's Sunday.

Miss Dovey Casey visited Mrs. Alfred Grass Sunday.

Miss Cleve Estes and Kate Nunn spent the day Sunday with relatives of Chalk Level.

An old fashioned party together with pie and pound supper was given at John Dark's Saturday night; "'Snap"' seemed to be the leading game of the evening, other games were played too numerous to mention.

Arthur Allinson, as usual, was a jolly caller at Mr. Dunham's Sunday. Not even rainy days or snowstorms of deepest drifts would stop this youth from making his regular calls.

Mr. and Mrs. L. Morris spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. L.A. Morris.
