Democratic Meetings
Hear the Political Issues of the Day Fairly Discussed.
Democratic meetings will be held in the various Townships at the following times and places, towit:

In Collins, at Wright’s Store Monday Sept 30th, and at Coon Creek Church Monday, Nov. 4th.

In Washington, at Witt’s School House Tuesday, Oct. 1st, and at Shryer’s School House, Saturday, Nov. 2d.

In Doyal, at Union School House Wednesday, Oct. 2d, and at Pleasant Hill School House Friday, Nov. 1st.

In Dallas, at Fraley’s School House Thursday, Oct. 3rd and at King’s Prairie Thursday, Oct. 31st.

In Polk, at Concord Friday, Oct. 4th, and at Harper’s Prairie Wednesday, Oct. 30th.

In Osceola, at Osceola Saturday, Oct. 5th, and Monday, Nov. 4th.

In Roscoe, at Roscoe Saturday, Oct. 5th; at Motley’s School House Tuesday, Oct. 8th, and at Ritchey’s Mill Wednesday, Oct. 23d.

In Speedwell, at Graham’s School House Wednesday, Oct. 9th; at Young’s School House Friday, Oct. 25th, and at Etheridge’s School House Tuesday, Oct. 29th.

In Taber, at Taberville Thursday, Oct. 10th; at the Hoover School House Friday, Oct. 11th, and at Landon’s School House Thursday, Oct. 24th.

In Appleton, at Appleton City, Saturday, Oct. 12th and at Chamberlain’s School House Monday, Oct. 28th.

In Monegaw, at Ohio Monday Oct. 14th; at Johnson City Tuesday, Oct. 15th, and at Lewellen’s School House Saturday, Oct. 26th.

In Chalk Level, at Hillsdale Wednesday, Oct. 16th; at Pleasant Valley Thursday, Oct. 17th, and at Green’s School House Saturday, Nov. 2d.

In Butler, at Lowry City Friday, Oct. 18th, and at Kelley’s School House Saturday, Oct. 19th.

In Jackson, at Wright’s School House Monday, Oct. 21st, and at Liberty School House Tuesday, Oct. 22d.

At all of the above named points the Democratic candidates and some of the following speakers will be present:
Jas. R. Waddill, Jno. C. Ferguson, Jno. T. Metcalf, O.B. Fowler, W.W. Warren, J.G. Graham, Jno. H. Lucas, Thos. C. Davis, W.W. Shaffner, R.H. Johnson, R.P. Woodbury.
Speaking will begin at 7 o’clock p.m., except in Jackson township, where it will begin at 1 p.m.
The Democratic committeemen in each township will make the necessary arrangements.
Greenbackers and Republiscans and Greenback and Republican speakers are cordially invited to be present.
