Know all men by these presents; that I, A.C. Davidson, of the County of St. Clair in the State of Missouri
party of the first part, for and in consideration of the love and affection I have for Murtie Greer (Minor)
of the County of St. Clair in the State of Missouri, party of the second part, have this day adopted and do
by these presents adopt her the said Murtie Greer as my own child and heir, and give and grant unto her
all rights and privileges to which she may be entitled by Chapter Fifteen of the Revised Statutes of the
State of Missouri.

Be it remembered that on this 6th day of September 1882 before the undersigned a Notary Public within and for the County of St. Clair in the State of Missouri personally came A.C. Davidson who is personally known to me to be the same person whose name is subscribed to the foregoing instrument of writing as party there to and acknowledged the same to be his act and deed for the purposed therein mentioned.
