The Society meets the second Tuesday of each month, except December.
December's meeting is held in the new museum, located in the the old First Baptist Church building at
 660 Main Street across from the Library.

Dues are $10 per single, $15 for family, $25 for business, $50 life membership
A newsletter, "Osage Currents" is issued to the members quarterly.
Our year begins in September.

Upcoming Schedule of Events:

As posted in the St. Clair County Courier, 8 March 2008, page 8:

April 8 - Charles Gass, descendant of Lewis & Clark expedition member will speak.

 April 19 - Gospel Concert fundraiser at Assembly of God auditorium north of Osceola. Prizes will be awarded.

 May 13 - Warren Love and others will speak on revitalization of Iconium.

June 10 - Revolutionary reinactors

 July 8 - Richard Sunderwirth will show DVD interviews of older citizens

 Aug. 12 - Jim Denny of Natural Resources will speak Sept. 9 carry-in supper

 Oct. 14 - Kathy Roberts will tell of the burning of Dayton

Nov. 11 - Dr. Evans will update on the Weaubleau Crater.

Everyone is invited to all meetings. The museum will be open each Saturday from 9:00 - 1:00 starting May 3 until
 the last Saturday in October

Our policy for Research Assistance:
Research assistance for non-members will be a maximum of one hour for a fee of $15 . Members will not be
charged the fee for the first hour. Any research assistance that will take longer than one hour to complete will be referred
to a private researcher. Requests for newspaper research must include name of person or event, date of event and location. Direct research requests to:
