She was a retired housekeeper from the Benedictine Convent, Clyde, MO.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Robert H. Farnan whom she married
on September 1, 1953, in Conception Junction, MO, loving children, Sandra
Farnan, Maryville, David Farnan, Conception Junction, Jody Frampton and
husband Mark, Arkoe, Sharon Luke and husband Dave, Stanberry, Annette
Farnan, Maryville, Joe Farnan and wife Robin, Conception, Paul Farnan
and wife Brenda, Bedford, Iowa, sisters, Viola Joy, Lawson, MO & Fern
Moad, Albany, MO, 12 Grandchildren & 2 Great Grand Children. She was
preceded in death by her parents, brother, Melvin Wilson, sister, Margaret
Herndon.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday,

- Funeral services for Mary Ann Farrens, age 77, of Burlington Junction,

Mary Ann Farrens was born June 27, 1928, at Fairfax,
Missouri, to Okie Francis and Cornelia Withers Sexton Schooler and she
passed away Saturday, May 13, 2006 at Heartland East Hospital, St. Joseph,
Missouri. Mary Ann lived her entire life in Burlington Junction.
She graduated from the Burlington Junction High School and also graduated
with a BS in Elementary Education from Northwest Missouri Teachers College,
Maryville, Missouri. She also had a master's degree in education. Mary
Ann taught for forty four years before her retirement. She was a member
of the First Christian Church, Burlington Junction and a member of the
Retired Teachers Organization.
She married Clarence Farrens, May 29, 1949, at Burlington Junction and
he preceded her in death in 1978.
She is survived by four children, Clarence Larry Farrens (Karen) of Maryville,
Missouri, William E. Farrens (Sharon) of Blockton, Iowa, Connie Goff (Roger)
and Carla Ann Grossoehme (Robert) all of Burlington Junction, Missouri;
fourteen grandchildren; thirty three great grandchildren and one great,
great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband;
half-sister, Lois Burgett; a friend, Roy Merckling; two grandchildren
and one great grandchild.

1936-2005
KEARNEY, Mo. — Mildred “Millie” Joyce Fehr, 68, of Kearney,
joined her Lord and Savior on Feb. 16, 2005.
She was born on Dec. 10, 1936, to William Athel and Eunice Boone (Hendrix)
Foster in Edgerton, Mo.
On Aug. 27, 1960, she was united in marriage to Robert William Fehr. After
their marriage, they lived in Edgerton until 1987 when they moved to Kansas
City, where they made their home. Her husband, Bob, passed away Sept. 13,
1991.
Millie worked at National Bellas Hess, as a secretary at A&P and at
the Marriott Host KCI. After disabilities forced her retirement, she spent
the last decade of her life dedicated to being a mother, grandmother, sister,
aunt, friend and servant of God.
She also was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Steven; four sisters;
and two brothers.
She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Wiseman; grandchildren, Amanda and
William; son Daniel, and his wife, Patricia Fehr; grandchildren, Adam and
Mary; son Keith, and his wife, Donna; grandchildren, Amelia, Nathaniel and
Jeremiah; two brothers, Raymond and Loren Foster; and many other cousins,
nephews and nieces.
Funeral service: 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, at Mount Zion Baptist Church,
Edgerton. Burial: Ridgely, Mo., Cemetery.
Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18, at the church.

[107] Fine, Ardith Claire (Lister), 89, resident
of Hopkins, Missouri since 1941 passed away on Wednesday, November 30,
2005. During the last six weeks of her life, Ardith resided at Villa Marie
Skilled Nursing Facility, Jefferson City, Missouri so she could be near
her son, Dwight Fine and his family.
Ardith was born April 12, 1916 in Page County, Iowa.
She spent her childhood years in the Clarinda, Iowa and Braddyville, Iowa
area. She was raised by her grandparents, David A and Arrie (Meads) Lister.
During her working career, Ardith was the bookkeeper for Bedford Motor
Company, Bedford, Iowa.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hopkins and the Order
of the Eastern Star in Hopkins.
Ardith was preceded in death by her grandparents; her husband: Orris L
Fine; her mother: Clarice Damewood; step-father: L N Damewood and son:
Kenneth Leon Fine.
Ardith is survived by her son: Dwight and his wife: Eva; Kenneth's wife:
Helen; two brothers: L N Damewood, Jr and Donald L Damewood; 2 grandchildren
and 2 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2pm at the First Baptist Church, Hopkins
on Saturday, December 10, 2005.

IA, died Wednesday, January 12, 2005 at Clarinda Regional Health Center
in Clarinda, IA.
He was born October 7, 1920 in Siam, IA to Clem and Della (McMullin) Fine.
He married Sara Elizabeth Russell on September 29, 1948 in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Mr. Fine was a farmer and operated Clem Fine and Sons Allis Chalmer Dealership
at Siam and later, Bedford, Iowa. He was a member of Wray Memorial United
Methodist Church and Glen Ulmer American Legion Post #288, both in Hopkins,
MO. He was also a 50 year member of Plum Lodge #285 AF & AM and Highland
Chapter #523, Order of the Eastern Star, both of Siam.
He served in the United States Army during World War II.
Preceding Mr. Fine in death were his parents; wife, Sara Elizabeth Fine
(December 10, 1999); 2 sons: Maurice Fine, Jr. and Stephen Clem Fine; Grandson,
Aaron Clem Fine; brother, Harold Fine and sister, Irene Vardaman.
Survivors are: Granddaughter: Vanessa Mae Morgan-Fine, Braddyville, Iowa;
2 Great-Grandchildren: Patrick Morgan-Fine and Hazel Kay Morgan-Fine; Sister:
Doris Carter, Skidmore, Missouri; several nieces and nephews.

Wayne, passed away April 24, 2006 at his home surrounded by his family.
Heaven has a new and beautiful angel.
Wayne was born on March 14, 1940 in Maryville, Missouri. He graduated from
Corning High School in Corning, Iowa in 1959.
Wayne loved classic cars - he could identify any classic - and was accomplished
in restoring these beauties. He had a 1956 Mercury that he restored and
won many trophies with it. His accomplishments didn't stop there. He could
fix anything and he did.
He built sheds, covered patios, and finished basements. He was also a very
accomplished large equipment operator winning contests by showing his skills.
He worked as a foreman for many contractors including Gracon Construction,
Barker Construction, and Loveland Excavation. He helped clean up after the
Big Thompson Flood.
Wayne loved life and God and showed it by his kindness and tenderness -
doing anything for anyone. He loved to travel and after retirement in 2002,
he did his share of road trips. He was proud of his country. Wayne was a
veteran of the United States Army and had trained at Fort Leonard in Wood,
Missouri.
Wayne is survived by his wife Margaret Hird, daughters Stacey Evans (Greg),
Melanie Blanchard (Brian), Chris Doescher (Ron), Kelly Wray (David), son
Mike Hird, grandchildren Bria, Libby, Grace and Lewis, Ryan, Brooke, Nick,
Zak, Deni, Halle, Grant, and Emersen, brother Ralph Fishell (Barb), sisters
Clara Mae Rawlings, and Phyllis (Sandy) Hellman, sister-in-law Mid Fishell,
several nieces and nephews. Wayne was preceded in death by is father Myrle,
mother Sibitha, and brother Paul.
A memorial service was held Friday, April 28, 2006 at 4:30 p.m. at Resthaven

at St Francis Hopital, in Maryville, Missouri. David was born February
10, 1958 in Maryville, Missouri, the son of Orville and Mary (Sumy) Florea.
A 1978 graduate of North Nodaway High School, Hopkins, David married Tammy
Sue Morehouse August 6, 1977 in Hopkins.
He was in maintenance at the Energizer Battery Plant in Maryville. He
was an avid hunter and fisherman and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of
it.
He was preceded in death by his father: Orville Wayne Florea on March
24, 1997.

[121] Fuller, Marvin McKee, was born May 17,
1924 at the home farm near Clearmont, Missouri, to Moses T. and Vera (Harper)
Fuller. Marvin passed away at Clarinda Regional Health Center Saturday
morning, October 8, 2005 at the age of 81 years.
Marvin graduated Clearmont High School in 1941 and began
his farming career. He was married August 3, 1951 at the Christian Church
parsonage in Clarinda by Rev. Vernon Carter to Opal Mack. They remained
married 54 years. The couple had two children: Becky and Scott.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers: Merlin, Ralph and
his wife Dorothy, and Keith.
Marvin is survived by his wife, Opal, of Clearmont, MO; children Becky
Walker of Clarinda and Scott Fuller and his wife Laurie of Clearmont,
MO; grandchildren: Kyle Walker of Clarinda, IA, Justin Fuller of Laramie,
WY, Kristin Fuller, Clearmont, MO, Allison and Alex Barnett, Clearmont,
MO, Emily Wheatley and Kipp Wheatley of Clarinda, IA, Dawn Pulliam of

Mrs Fine was a homemaker. Born November 8, 1921, in Hopkins, she was a graduate of Hopkins High School.
Mrs Fine was a member of Wray Memorial United Methodist church, Hopkins, and Highland Chapter No. 523, Order of the Eastern Star, Siam, Iowa.
On September 29, 1948, she married Roy M. Fine Sr in St Joseph [Missouri]. He survives of the home.
Mrs Fine was preceded in death by two sons, Maurice Jr., and Stephen C.; her parents, Galen B. Russell Sr and Iva M. Billings Russell; a sister, Maxine Carmichael; five brothers, Paul, Charles, George, Robert and Franklin Russell; and a grandchild.
Additional survivors: three sisters, Margaret Williams, St Joseph, and Zattie Lewis and Mary Neumeyer, both of Hopkins; three brothers, Clifford Russell, Kansas City, Galen Russell Jr., John Russell, Hamilton, Missouri; a grandchild; and a great-grandchild.

He was born to Roy M. Fine Sr and Sara Russell Fine on February 4, 1950 in Maryville, Missouri.
He was a graduate of New Market High School, Class of 1968 in New Market, Iowa and attended Iowa Western Community College in Clarinda. He worked at NSK Corporation since 1974. He belonged to the Wray Memorial United Methodist Church at Hopkins, Missouri, the Siam Masonic Lodge #285 AF & AM, Siam, Iowa, Highland Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #315, Siam, Iowa.
Maurice was preceded in death by a son, Aaron Clem Fine (December 17, 1980) and one brother, Stephen Clem Fine.
He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Vanessa Mae Morgan-Fine and Richard Morgan-Fine of West Des Moines, Iowa; and parents, Mr and Mrs Roy Fine, Sr., Braddyville, Iowa.

Ralph Douglas Fine, son of Douglas and Nealy Smith Fine, was born in Taylor county, Iowa, on June 30, 1893.
Most of his lifetime was spent in Taylor county, Ia., where he was reared, educated, and engaged in farming.
On March 7, 1917, Ralph was united in marriage at Clarinda, Iowa to Viva Shields. Four daughters were born to this union: Mrs Richard (Elsie Rose) Burton of New Market; Mrs George (Lucille) Stanley of Bedford; Mrs Hollis (Edith) Naven of Lenox; and Mrs Bill (Hope) Pratt of New Market.
He is survived by his wife; the four daughters; four sons-in-law; three sisters, Mrs G.B. (Elma) Ingram of Canon City, Colo., Mrs A.E. (Rose) Retzer of Canon City, Colo., Mrs Earl (Mary) Taylor of Stronghurst, Ill.; one brother Claude of Hopkins, Mo.; four grandchildren, Patricia Stanley of Des Moines, Ia., Gordon Douglas and Billie Joyce Pratt of New Market, and Eleanor Jo Burton of New Market, a number of nieces, nephews, other realtives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Cleve, of Cheyenne, Wyo.
Ralph's life speaks for itself, because be a life long or short, its completeness depends on what it was lived for. All who knew him will long remember him.

[125] Florea, Brice, 90, Hopkins, died Wednesday, April 11, at the Maryville Health Care Center in Maryville [Missouri].
Born March 29, 1900 at Gaynor City in Nodaway County [Missouri], to Devner and Adel Davis Florea, Mr Florea was a retired farmer and worked as a substitute mail carrier for 21 years. He was a member of the Hopkins Christian Church. He married Lela May Buzzard on Dec 10, 1922 in Gaynor.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, two brothers and a sister.
Survivors include three sons, Ralph and Charles, both of Hopkins and Orville, Pickering; two daughters, Maxine Whipple, Hopkins and Rosa Dell Keiffer, St Joseph; a brother, Donald Florea, Wichita, Kan; two sisters, Edna Keats, Hopkins, and Mildred Havens, Kansas City; 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild, many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 1:30 pm Saturday, April 14 at the Price Funeral Home Chapel in Maryville with the Rev Mark Imel and the Rev Paul McKim officiating.
Burial will be in the White Oak Cemetery at Pickering.
Visitation will be from 7-8 pm Friday at the funeral home.
A memorial to the White Oak Cemetery Association has been established.

[126] Florea, Faye J., 72, Longmont, Colo, died Friday, July 17, 1992 at Longmont United Hospital.
Born April 22, 1920 near Hopkins to Faye J. Sr and Lillian Lawson Florea, he was retired from the Great Western Sugar Company.
He married Mary E. Friend on Aug 27, 1947 in Hopkins.
Mr Florea was a graduate of Gaynor Missouri High School and attended Northwest Missouri State College and Kansas City Art School.
He served in the United States Army from Feb 1942 until Nov 30, 1945 during World War II, two years of which were spent overseas, landing in France shortly after D-Day and serving through much of Europe.
Mr Florea was a member of the American Legion and Longmont Elks Club and the Masonic Club in Pickering.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; one son, Rick Florea; one daughter, Janice Florea; one daughter-in-law, Sharon Florea and two grandsons, all of Fort Collins and one aunt, Hazel Porter of Maryville.
Services were held Tuesday.

Born Aug 4, 1917 in rural Hopkins, to Delbert Eldridge and Alma Vesta Massie Florea, he had worked as a tank wagon driver for Shipps Oil Company for 17 years.
He married Marjorie Mae Howard, March 17, 1941, in Corning, Iowa.
Mr Florea had been a resident of Maryville since 1942. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He has also worked for the City of Maryville Police Department, retiring in 1972; and at the Northwest Missouri Vocational-Technical School for 10 years. He attended Gaynor Methodist Church, Gaynor, Mo., and was a member of the James Edward Gray American Legion Post #100, Maryville.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Marjorie, of Maryville; two brothers, Dale Florea of Maryville, and Howard Florea of Portland, Ore; one sister, Wilma Morgan of Cameron, Mo; and many nieces and nephews.

[131] Florea, Frank E. - Funeral services were held Saturday at the Bonners Ferry, Idaho, Funeral Home Chapel for long-time District 5 farmer Frank Florea, 92, who died Tuesday, Jan 29, at the Extended Care Facility at Boundary County Community Hospital. He was buried in the Moravia Cemetery.
Frank was born March 19, 1901 in Siam, Iowa, to John and Lenora Killam Florea. He attended High Prairie School in Taylor County, Polk Township [Iowa], finishing the eighth grade before he started working on farms and ranches to support himself. He worked his way west, arriving in Bonners Ferry in 1920.
On September 18, 1923 he married the former Irene Burgo in Bonners Ferry, and the two made their home there for two years before moving to Iowa and Nebraska, where they remained 12 years before returning to Boundary County.
In 1940, Frank bought his farm in Drainage District 5, and the couple lived and farmed there for the next 10 years. He then moved to the Cow Creek area, where he raised cattle and began working as a mail carrier. He sold his property in 1959 and moved to town, where Irene died in 1964. In July, 1965, he married Helen (Smigy) Schenck in Bonners Ferry. She preceded him in death in 1983.
Frank spent 26 years delivering mail, retiring at the age of 78. Patrons on his route always said they could set their watch by his punctuality.
Following Helen's death, Frank moved to the North Bench area, where he lived until health problems forced him to move to the Community Hospital last year.
Frank enjoyed the mountains of Idaho and loved hunting and fishing. He was a past member of the Odd Fellows Lodge and a member of St Ann's Catholic Church.
He is survived by daughters Gladys Cook, Vancouver, Wash., Evelyn Stanczak, Arnold, Calif., Fern Gutherie, Spokane, and Lenora Tucker, Newport, Wash; sons Harold, MtVernon, Wash, Clarence and Tom, both of Bonners Ferry, Robert, Chinook, Mont, and Richard, Newport, Wash; brother John Florea, Aurora, Ne; numerous nieces, nephews, including Sid Neumeyer, Fay Florea and Bill Florea, all of Bonners Ferry; 31 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter; stepchildren Donna Worley and Cliff Schenck, both of Bonners Ferry; nine step grandchildren and 11 step great grandchildren. Verna McDonald of Gravity is a niece.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, five sisters, sons William Charles and Jerry Walter and grandson Mike Smith.

[132] Florea, John, 95, of Aurora, Ne died Tuesday, March 17, 1998, at the Hamilton Manor in Aurora.
Services were held at the Aurora First Christian Church. The Rev Jay Mitchell officiated. Burial in the Aurora Cemetery.
Mr Florea was born on February 11, 1903 near Hopkins, Mo to John William and Elnora (Killam) Florea. He grew up and was educated near Hopkins.
His mother died when he was 6 years old, and the family was separated and placed with other families. He stayed with neighbors and worked as a farm hand in the area.
He served a short stint in the U.S. Army and in 1923, he and a friend came to Aurora, where his brother Fred was living. He worked on the Fred Splinter farm, where he met his future wife.
He married Imogene Splinter on Dec 15, 1925 at Aurora. They began farming in Hamilton County. They moved into Aurora in 1972. He continued farming for one more year, and then his son, Ron, took over the farming operation. They moved into Hamilton Manor in Aurora in November, 1996.
He was a long time member of the Aurora First Christian Church and served as a deacon, elder and Sunday School teacher for many years. He also served on the District 4-R School Board, the Hamilton County Commission for 12 years, the Aurora Zoning Board from 1972 to 1992 and the Aurora Co-op elevator board for many years. He had been active in the Aurora Lions Club and served one term as district governor.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Ronald of Hampton; one daughter, Dorothy (Mrs Bill) Bish of West Point; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters.
John is an uncle of Richard Neumeyer and a brother to Mrs Henry Neumeyer of Bedford.

Born Dec 23, 1908, in Braddyville, Iowa, to Ira and Freda Freuck Fine, she was a homemaker.
She was married to Noble Florea, who preceded her in death.
A resident of Texas for the past 17 years, Mrs Florea was a member of the Church of God, Seventh Day of Wichita Falls.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Cuma Alexander; and two brothers, Kenneth Fine and Lloyd Fine.
Survivors include two sons, Rollie Florea of Wichita Falls, and Gael Florea of St Charles, Mo; one sister, Audrey Pistole of Bella Vista, Ark; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He married Mary Evalyn Sumy, Sept 5, 1951, in Maryville.
A lifetime resident of the area, Mr Florea served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Pickering Christian Church, Pickering, Mo., and attended the Laura Street Baptist Church, Maryville.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
