Inskeep family
 
Joseph Inskeep, b June 26, 1813; d. June 10, 1888, buried McAttee-Washburn Cemetery, Nodaway Co., MO. Joseph Inskeep was the s/o James and Eleanor Glendening Inskeep who are buried in the James Inskeep burial grounds which at one time was a part of his farm in Jackson Twp, Brown Co., Ohio
Joseph married Martha Hill on Dec. 26, 1840 in Brown Co., OH.  They had nine children and James Howard Inskeep, b. Oct. 13, 1843, in Brown Co., OH was child number two. He served in the Union Army, Co. H, 25th Regt., Missouri Vol. Inf.,  Civil War and was given a land grant in Morrow County, Oregon. James Howard Inskeep died Feb. 28, 1901 and is buried in the IOOF Cem., Hardman, Oregon.
James Howard Inskeep, m., (1) Feb. 19, 1874, Ellen Wilson, b. Apr. 6, 1848: d. Feb. 24, 1875, bur. in McLaughlin Cem. Nodaway Co., MO. They had one son, Addison David Inskeep, b. Jan. 2, 1875; d. Nov. 5, 1945, bur. near his father in Hardman, OR.  (( This is Wendell F. Inskeep speaking, my assumption is that Ellen Wilson Inskeep died from child birth problems)).  Ellen was the d/o Alexander & Francis A. Wilson.
James Howard Inskeep, m. (2) Sept. 13, 1876 Nancy Ellen Cline, b. Apr. 7, 1861; d. Oct. 16, 1877, of complications from child birth, bur. in Nodaway Co., MO.

County court records says Joseph Inskeep died Jun 10, 1888 aged 74y 11m 14d. There isn't a tombstone for him but he's probably buried in the same cemetery.
