NOTES:  Houston H. Graves died during the Civil War.  His exact burial location is not known.  Houston’s grave site is not marked, and it is possible that he is buried in a common or mass grave near Van Buren, Arkansas.  In February 2009 a grave marker was ordered from the government to honor him and his military service.  This marker will be placed next to his son Rufus Graves at the Kirk Cemetery, Kirk, Yuma County, Colorado.
