JACKSON or GOFORTH CEMETERY

From Barnard go east approximately 1-½ miles and turn south on Lantern Rd. The cemetery is about ¼ mile south of 390th St. on the east side of Lantern Rd, back in the timber about 200 yards. You can’t see the cemetery from the road. In 2009, this cemetery was cleaned up by Michael Von Gebel and he found and reset most of the stones. Many stones had been missing for years and a couple had never been recorded. Most stones are upright now, but many are still very hard to read. The order of the rows and stones has been changed from the last book to try to make them easier to find. The rows are crooked and hard to follow. We found some foot stones with no markings.

Rows read from left to right.
