SAYS MARK TWAIN PARK IS ASSURED

Moberly, Mo., Dec 10-Establishment of the Mark Twain Memorial Park at the birthplace of the author and humorist, near Florida, Mo., is virtually assured, according to an announcement here today by F. B. Lamson, secretary of the Mark Twain Memorial Park Association. The funds required to purchase the site are expected to be in hand soon, Mr. Lamson said. Some time in January, 1925, it is expected that the association will have accomplished its work and will be able to turn the park over to the state.
