Mr. and Mrs. Paul martin of Macon, Mo., spent the weekend with Mrs. martin’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Turner.

Mr. and Mrs. Charley Lewellen visited Mr. and Mrs. Raymond King at Paris, Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. John Massey were visitors in St. Louis Wednesday and Thursday.

The Royal neighbors and families enjoyed a wiener roast at the shelter house in Mark Twain Park Sunday.

Mrs. Ada Hickman had as Sunday guests Mrs. Nellie Thompson and son, Ross, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Lewellen and son, Shearer, of near Perry, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Shearer, of Victor.

The Methodist and Presbyterian churches are each sending a barrel of fruit to the Orphan Home.

Mis Ruth Terrell of Moberly visited Mr. and Mrs. D.P. Violette Sunday afternoon.

Mrs. Jim Turner and Mrs. Creighton did a neighborly deed Friday by preparing dinner at the home of Mrs. S.M. Riley for the men who were sawing wood. Mrs. Riley has been in poor health for the past month.

Mrs. Ada Hickman, Mrs. Jim Turner, Mrs. J.T. Painter and Mrs. Paul Martin were Paris visitors Saturday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Smith and H.C. Reynolds visited Mrs. Mary Keith and children at Vandalia Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Orville Smith and son, Donnie, of near Petty, visited Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Johnston and sons Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Marcellin Rector and son, Guy Riley , of near Center, visited Mr. and Mrs. Frank Smith Sunday.

Mrs. Abe Asbury spent the weekend with her sister in Vandalia.

Mrs. Mary Street is visiting Mrs. Maacha McCreery this week.

Mr. and Mrs. W.S. Woodyard, of Victor, spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Lon Chapman.

Mrs. Arthur Hurd returned home Saturday from Moberly hospital and is getting along nicely.
