He was Pvt. Company B, 23rd Mo. Vol. Inf., Capt Nash's Company. Enlisted Trenton, Mo. 
Aug4-6,1862: disch July 24, 1865,St.Louis. Mo. He is buried in Galt cemetary, Galt, Mo.
