Battle of Pilot Knob Reenactment

My name is Bruce Morgan. I am owner of the "Historic Route 66 Walk Through Time" Renaissance Festival,
which will be held in Carterville, Missouri on July 25-26, 2009.

This year as well as a Renaissance Festival, we are expanding into a living history tour. The festival will be
held on an empty lot, just west of Shirley's Tavern. We are also blocking off three blocks of Main Street.
These will be a dedicated 1800's, 1900's and 2000's area. Each with their own period appropriate vendors
and entertainment. We would very much like to have a Civil War encampment included in the 1800's area.
This year we do not the funds available for a full scale reenactment.

Please check the web site at: "Historic Route 66 Walk Through Time" Renaissance Festival
you will notice that we have received National recognition from the Historic Route 66 organization, and are
linked to their sites. This will be the first ever Renaissance Festival on Route 66.

Hours and dates are Saturday and Sunday July 25-26 from 10:00 AM til 7:00 PM. At this time we are
projecting an attendance of between 8-10,000 for the weekend.

Please consider this request, and feel free to contact me at any time.
