Daniel Boone CORBIN New Salem Cemetary, Couch, MO Company F, 10th Missouri Infantry born Coshocton Co., OH  from Couch, MO Pugnutty@aol.com
Captian James Posey Woodside was born in 1843 in Benton, Scott County, Mo.  who served in Company A,
7th Divison, 2nd infantry Regiment, McBride's Divison.  He also served in Co. D 4th Missouri Infantry Confederate Army. He fought at the Battle of Wilson's Creek and was a Lt. who during the fighting at Wilson's Creek he was wounded in the left arm at this battle. He also fought at South Fork, Farmington, Iuka, Corinth, where he got wounded through the right hip and left at the hospital at Corinth. He was captured and exchange there. He was paroled after the battle of Vicksburg. He was exchanged again in 1864 and reported for duty as a dispatch bearer at the Blue Mountains. He was paroled in 1865 in Meridiam, Mississippi. He died on May 21, 1912 at the age of 69 years old in Alton, Missouri.  He is buried at the Woodside cemetary in Thomasville, Mo.
Garret Kremer-Wright
Col. John R. Woodside who served for the Confederacy. fought at Wilson's Creek and was Captured three times by the Yankees. He was born in Rowlett's Landing, Franklin County (now Owen County), Kentucky in 1814. He first came to Scott County, Mo. and then came to Oregon county. He died in 1887.  He is buried at the Woodside cemetary in Thomasville, Mo.  Garret Kremer-Wright
Francis Marion ROGERS of Oregon County, Mo. served Company F of the Eighth Missouri Regiment of Infantry (CSA). Ray Thompson
William McIntire Jr. born 1846 in Oregon County died October 3, 1862 in Battle of Corinth, Mississippi in a report dated October 12, 1862..  Enlisted Feb. 25, 1861 in Birch Tree, Shannon County MO in the Confederacy for a 12 month period by JR Woodside as a Private in Company D, 4 Reg't Missouri Infantry. He was last paid on April 30, 1862 by Capt. A. Danner.  Was said to have been killed by a member of Cantrell Raiders Hired Guns. mailto:FARMH35418@aol.com

Osage
Albert Hermann Wulff, buried in Hope-Salem cemetery, Hope, MO. born May 16, 1832 in Pommerania, Prussia. He joined the Union Army at Newark, IL as a Pvt., Company F, 36th Regiment, Illinois Infantry 1861-1863.You will find him listed through the IL civil war home page. Participated in battle of Murfreesboro (Stone River) TN  under Major General Rosecrams where he was wounded in neck and captured. Was paroled at Murfreesboro December 31, 1862and transferred to Benton Barracks, St. Louis, MO. Wounded again at Risaca, GA, musket ball in right thigh, and transferred to Jefferson General Hospital, Jefersonville, IN. After mustering out he came to Osage county, MO, became a farmer and raised a large family. He died on November 28, 1925 at 94 years of age and is buried in Hope-Salem cemetery, Hope, MO.Charles J. James H. SALEE b. 10 Apr 1833 in Madison, AR; d. 14 Apr 1916 at Hammond, Ozark County, MO. In 1861 he joined in US Home Guards and served until November 1861; enlisting as sergeant in Company F, Phelp's Regiment, served six months, participating in  engagement at Pea Ridge. On 9 Aug 1862, he joined Company G, 73rd East Missouri Militia as a captain and served until 4 Dec 1863, taking an active part in numerous skirmishs in AR & MO. Joined Company B, 16th Missouri Calvary which he served until 10 Jul 1865 in MO & AR, principally on scouting duty. Discharged at Springfield MO.   Joyce Willhoit

First Corporal Albert George Thompson was in the Civil War .His enlistment was Sept. 28,1861 Cooper Hill,Mo.   Co. M, 5th Cav. Iowa. Was taken prisoner July 3o,1864, Newman , Ga. while on mission to get
horses in Tn.  Mustered oput June 2,1865, at  Davenport, Iowa Albert is buried  at Elijah, Missouri Ozark County, in the Elijah Church Of Christ cemetery.  My G-Grandfather Lola Johnston
Henry Franklin COBLE,  born 31 Oct 1819,  enrolled 17 Aug 1864 in Co “H” 46th Regiment Missouri Infantry,  as Corporal under Capt. Moses Lock Alsup. Honorably Discharged 9 Mar 1865.  Died 17 Feb 1897.  Buried in Hale Cemetery,  Ozark County MO. James E. (Jay) Gentry, Jr.  1004 N Fredrick Mountain Grove  MO  65711  Harvey N. Sheppard, was enrolled on the first day of March, 1864 in Company A of the 5th Regiment of the Missouri State Militia and discharged December 19, 1866 according to his pension application. (USA)  He is buried in the Harve Sheppard Cemetery in Ozark Co., MO on land he homesteaded.  His brother-in-law,
John T. Luna, was in Company M, 1 ARK CAV (USA) and is also buried in the Harve Sheppard Cemetery where his tombstone is inscribed to reflect his participation in the war.
