Johnathan Andrew EPLEY  [also called Josh and Andy]  buried Pilot Knob, Iron Co Mo,  b. 1845 St.Francois twp, Wayne County, Missouri. His parents were David and Susannah EPLEY..came to Greenville  from Perry County Tennessee. d. 29 Sep 1864 ....Johnathan Andrew EPLEY was Private in 47th Missouri Infantry Co G.  Brother of great grandmother, Martha Sophronia EPLEY WELCH    Rich Grennan

Captain Jesse R. Pratt Sr.  He was Captain of Company N, 15th Missouri Cavalry which was made up mostly of men from Iron and Reynolds counties. He captured a company of federals at Centerville, Mo and burned the Courthouse there.  He also was with General Price during the 1864 Missouri Campaign and was in the Battle of Pilot Knob.  He survived the war and was paroled in June 1865.  He moved to Warm Springs Arkansas after the war and lived there until his death.
