Born Sunday Feb. 5, 1905, to the wife of Green Simpson, a girl.

Mrs. Jno. Powell left Saturday for Ottumwa, Iowa to see her sister Mrs. Joshua Price who is very sick.

Thomas Thirloway and wife are both suffering from an attack of Grippe.

Mrs. Sidney Jones who has been sick for several months is still confined to her home.

John J. Davis has been confined to his home with sickness for over four weeks.

Windows or doors can be made dust or water tight by the new weather strip that Geo. Frey puts on. Call him and see.

Willie Burns returned home Sunday from Novinger where he had been working for some time.

Misses Stella and Anna Jones, who had been for over a week at Brookfield visiting with their aunt, Mrs. E.E. Brammer and family, returned home Saturday.

David Davis and sister-in-law, Miss Lizzie Hughes, of Brush Creek visited here Tuesday and Wednesday with Mrs. John E. Morgan and other friends.

Mrs. Robert Taylor has an attack of the Grippe, and Mr. Taylor is still on the sick list.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert N. Jones, who have both been very sick are improved ____ ____ present writing. Their son, E. _. Jones returned to his studies at Columbia on Tuesday.

J. C. Thompson and wife have have returned home form an extended with their son at ________, Ark. [The sentence does not make sense, but that is how it is written. Could not read the town.]

Orval Nash and wife of Atlanta were the guest of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Blankenship Saturday and Sunday.

Mrs. Jno. C. Blankenship spent a few days with friends at Atlanta this week.

Joseph Evans and wife have both been sick with la grippe.

Mrs. Evan Jones has been sick for several days but is recovering.

Ben Smith is suffering from an attack of neursigia.

Mrs. Sophie Thomas is afflicted with another spell of sickness.

Miss Rosa Kube left on Thursday morning for St. Louis. She will remain for some time.

Mrs. Edwin Williams has been sick the past week.

Mr. Elmer Parker of Keota came in to see the Bevier folks on Thursday.

Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton and little son Robert, of Brookfield are visiting Mrs. Hamilton's mother Mrs. Thomas.(Hotel)

Geo. W. Graham, immigration agent for the Rock Island system left Bevier Wednesday. He appointed H.D. Goodale his agent here. Those interested in Marshall, Okla. may consult him.

The following were among those out of town who attended the ball in Hefferon's Hall on Tuesday night; Misses Maffry and Killholand of Macon and Messrs. Chas. Vanliew, Ed. O'Neil, Ed. Freney and Miss Ester Anderson of Brookfield.
