Will of Henry H. Mounce

    In the name of God Amen.
I Henry H. MOUNCE of the county Lincoln in the state of Missouri being in
good bodily health and of sound and disposing mind do make this my last will
and testament.

First I commend my spirit to God who gave it hoping and believing in the
remission of my sins in and through the merits of and mediation of Jesus
Christ and my body to the Earth to buried without unnecessary [sic ] expenss [sic] or
ostentation by my Executors here in after named.

Item first- I bequeath to my beloved wife Ann E. MOUNCE all of my house hold
and kitchen furniture the choice horse and the choice cow and all of the
Sheep that may be on my farm at the time of my death and one years provision
also my farm being and lying in Township fifty Section Three and four range
one ... all of which She is to have and to hold as her absolute property
and may dispose of the same as She may think proper.

Item Second I bequeath to my four children namely John MOUNCE Ezekiel
MOUNCE Martha E. WEEKS & Margaret E. WILLIAMS the farm on which I now live
it being and lying
Survey seventeen hundred and sixty seven 1767 Township fifty and fifty-one
range one west containing two hundred and ten acres and fifty five
hundreths.

And further if there should be other personal property moneys or effects not
specified in this my last will and testament that my wife and each one of my
aforesaid children have an equal portion of the Same and I do further
nominate and appoint my sons John and Ezekiel A. MOUNCE my Executors and
agents in fact and that they my said Executors Shall not be required to
give land or security to the Probate Court.

In testimony whereof I hereunto Set my hand and seal and declare this to be
my last will and testament in the presance [sic] of the witnesses named below this
the fourth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight
hundred and Seventy - five 1875.
