Will of Joseph McIntosh, dated 14 December 1852.
Lincoln County, Missouri Wills, Book 1, page 367.


I Joseph McIntosh of the County of Lincoln and State of Missouri do make and publish this my last will and testament that is to say
First. It is my will that my funeral expenses and all my just debts be fully paid.
Second. I give divise and bequeath to my beloved wife Sarah McIntosh all my real and personal estate including all my lands & negroes. All my live stock horses cattle sheep hogs & ect by me now owned. Also all my household and kitchen furniture and other items not particular named and not otherwise disposed of during her natural life (or widowhood) and that at her death (or marriage) of my said wife all the property hereby divised or bequeathed to her as aforesaid or so much thereof as may then remain
...expended after educating and raising my youngest children to be equally divided betwaeen my eleven children to equally divided between my eleven children vz. Mary C. Crumes, Ann Abigail Cocke, Sarah E. McIntosh, Robert S. McIntosh, Thomas W. McIntosh, Elizabeth N. McIntosh, James B. McIntosh, Jane Senmat McIntosh, Lusy Jefferson McIntosh, Adaline Young McIntosh, and Joseph Harvy McIntosh and their heirs and assigns forever.
And lastly I hereby constitute and appoint my said wife Sarah McIntosh and my brother Robert McIntosh to be the Executors to this my last will and testament revoking and annulling all former wills by me made and ratified and confirming this and noother to be my last will and testament.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this * day of Decr 14th 1852.
