Will of Daniel Davisson Downing

This is the last will of me Daniel Davisson DOWNING of Lincoln County in the
state of Missouri, a teacher:

I give devise and bequeath fifty dollars to my brother Andrew DOWNING of
Lincoln county State of Missouri, all the residue of my real estate and
personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever including my policy of Life
Insurance number 7118. in the Washington Life Insurance Company of New York.
I give devise and bequeath to my children whose names are Albert Fisk DOWNING,
Samuel Henry DOWNING and Ida Lee DOWNING their heirs administrators and
assigns for their own for their own use forever and I do hereby
ommit [sic] and dispose of the custody of any children named above unto my
brother Andrew DOWNING of Lincoln county Missouri. And I hereby appoint
said Andrew DOWNING my brother executor of this my will requiring of him no
bond or security but ... giving him to invest my estate for the benefit of my children
named above according to his best judgement.

In witness whereof I the said Daniel Davisson DOWNING have herunto set my
hand and seal this nineteenth day of August in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight-hundred and eighty two.
