Lewis Duwelius TAYLOR was born Feb. 27, 1895 died July 27, 1895

Dear little babe she has gone to rest
where never a sin shall stain her breast,
No trouble ore shadow
her innocent -life
She has gone to heaven that land of love,
of light and gladness and blessing above,
Her head is pillowed on Jesus' breast,
Dear little Lewis she is sweetly at rest

She lived on earth but a little while,
She died before we hardly seen her smile,
But she was our baby and is so still
Sweet Lewis we called her and always will
We know she has gone home
where life will be one happy day
and where an unkind word will never be spoken
