CHARLES STEPANEK

Charles STEPANEK was born near Troy, Mo., on February 7, 1865, a son of John and Mary STEPANEK, and died at his home November 29, 1939, after a month’s illness.

He was married to Mary SEDLACK September 18, 1889. To this union were born six children, all living: Guy, Harrison, Elsie (Mrs. L. BOBEEN), Dora (Mrs. W. L. PEASEL), Anna (Mrs. C. F. GREEN of East St. Louis), and Laura (Mrs. Lawrence HUNN of Louisiana).

He also leaves to mourn his death, 31 grandchildren and one great grandson.

His wife preceded him in death October 25, 1932.

Mr. STEPANEK was a good man, a true friend, and a loving father.

Funeral services were held Friday morning, December 1, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, at Hawk Point, by Rev. Father WEISMAN and burial was at Mashek.
