Death of Mrs. LUCY OGDEN


Mrs. Lucy CROUCH OGDEN, widow of the late James OGDEN, died at her home in Troy, December   30, 1922, and was buried in Mill Creek cemetery Sunday, December 31, after funeral services by her  pastor, Rev. J. F. BREEN.

Mrs. OGDEN was Miss Lucy CROUCH and was a sister of Mrs. W. C. TEAGUE, with whom she lived in  Troy, and who passed away only a few days before the death of Mrs. OGDEN. The deceased was born in October, 1849, and married Mr. James OGDEN in 1885. After his death she moved to Troy, in 1914, and  lived here until her death. Mrs. OGDEN was a member of the Baptist church and a noble Christian woman.

William T. Crouch and Jane Elizabeth Welch Crouch were the parents of Lucy Crouch Ogden. Lucy’s birth date was October 15, 1849. ]
