Funeral services for Mrs. Edith Dorothy LUCKETT, former Moscow Mills resident, were conducted from the Kemper Marsh Funeral Home in Troy Wednesday morning, Nov. 21st, 1973.

The Rev. James Flanagan was the minister and Mrs. Lois Marsh was the organist.

Interment was in the Troy E & R Cemetery. Casket bearers were Clarence ROBINSON, Sam LUCKETT, Vernett SHAFFER, Jr., Wayne LUCKETT, Jim NIEHAUS and Gerald THORNHILL. Honorary casket bearers were Pearl THORNHILL and C.O. ANDERSON.

Mrs. LUCKETT died in Eureka, Ill., early Monday morning, Nov. 19, 1973. She was 87 years of age.

She was born at Moscow Mills, Mo., June 12, 1886, the daughter of Moritz and Elizabeth GERAND BERGFELD. She was married to Richard Cleveland (Cleve) LUCKETT who preceded her in death. One son Everett and one grandson preceded her in death.

She is survived by one son, Alex LUCKETT and his wife, Jane, of Toulon, Ill., Everett’s wife, Helen of Enid, Oklahoma, two granddaughters; and one sister, Mrs. Elsie NIEHAUS of Moscow Mills and other relatives.

Mrs. LUCKETT had lived in the Moscow Mills area all of her life until six years ago when she went to Illinois to live.

She is a member of the Moscow Mills Christian Church and of the Sand Run Extension club.
