Earnie HELMICH, prominent Lincoln County stockman and farmer, died very suddenly while working on his farm Monday morning, April 3, 1972. He and his wife had just finished some work and had gotten in their pickup truck when he expired.

Funeral services were scheduled for 2 o’clock Thursday, April 6, from the First Christian Church of Troy, with interment in the Troy City Cemetery, the Rev. James Flanagan, pastor of the church officiating.

He was born at Moscow Mills, Mo., May 12, 1908, the son of William and Katherine HOUSE HELMICH. He was married to the former Miss Mary Jane LANGFORD who survives. He is also survived by his brother, Arlie, of Moscow Mills, three nieces and other relatives.

Mr. HELMICH was very active in the First Christian Church of Troy, the Lincoln County Farm Bureau of which he has been president, and other farm and civic organizations in which he also held office.

Arrangements were through the Kemper Marsh Funeral Home of Troy.
