Miss Barbara CARSON of Troy, and Mr. R. H. LUCK, of near Auburn, were united in marriage at the home of Judge and Mrs. J. C. ELLIS, in this city, Thursday morning, Jan. 28, 1904, Rev. D. E. MELLICHAMP officiating; attendants, Mr. J. O. CARSON and Miss Elsie ELLIS. Miss Nettie MOORE rendered the sweet strains of the wedding march promptly at the time appointed for the ceremony and the young couple, preceeded by their attendants, stepped into the doorway of the parlor beneath a pretty bell of flowers, when the minister pronounced a beautiful and impressive ceremony, uniting them for life.

Some forty or more friends were present and these pressed forward and extended congratulations and good wishes. Directly afterwards the happy couple were driven to the depot and left for Salisbury, Mo. to visit a brother of the groom. The bride was raised in Troy and is one of the sweetest and most popular young ladies that ever lived here. The groom is a son of Mrs. O. A. LUCK, of Union township, and is an excellent young man, well worthy the bride whom he has won. Both of them have our sincere wishes for a long and happy wedded life.
