Dear Mother - I recd your letter this eve. Mrs. W and I went to Fayette yesterday and Dave (Dane?) came home. She is nearly sick with a cold, saw Va. a few minutes. She is looking so well and getting so pretty and seems perfectly well. I got me a coat. I do not like the color but the fit is good so I thot (sic) that important feature & yet it is long. It would have been a up hill business getting one made.
With love to you all from
Alla
Glad the little chix are well.
