Wedding Announcement of Luther Turnbull and Maud Dell Jimison (date unknown)
No. 225 - Uncited clippings from the "Neva Murphy Hubbard Collection" of Beth Rengers Talken, 1998.

Luther TURNBULL, son of Dave TURNBULL, and Miss Maud Dell JIMISON, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George J. JIMISON, residing in the Birkhead district, were quietly married Saturday afternoon, December 28, at 2 o'clock, by Rev. O.A. GORDON. The wedding occurred at the home of the bride in the presence of a few relatives and friends. After the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. TURNBULL left for St. Louis to spend a few days and upon their return will make their home in Troy. They are deserving and will thought of young folks, who were born and raised in the vicinity of Troy, and the FREE PRESS extends them best wishes for future happiness.

Note regarding clippings from the "Neva Murphy Hubbard Collection":  Neva Murphy Hubbard (1886-1971) lived all of her life in Lincoln County, MO.  She collected a large file of clippings of Lincoln County residents. The majority of the clippings were without citation. Beth Rengers Talken, beneficiary of the collection, has transcribed them for inclusion in our Lincoln County Heritage Records.
