James N. BRAY was born in Lincoln county, Mo., March 9th, 1851, and died Oct. 3rd, 1912, at his home in the Bob's Creek vicinity. He had been a sufferer for some time with dropsy and heart disease, which at last proved fatal. He was married to Martha J. WILSON on his twentieth birthday, 1871. To this union was born nine children. Of these eight are living, four boys and four girls, one daughter having preceded him to the grave a few months. He united with the Moscow M.E. Church, July, 1911. Mr. BRAY was an honest industrious man and greeted every one with a smile and pleasant word. He will be missed from the home and the community. May He who relieved the sufferer bless and comfort the family.
