Retired Tulsa Man Dies of Leukemia

Funeral Services for Edward Harrison BRASHEAR, 77, of 228 N.49th West Ave., a Tulsan 20 years, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in West Side Assembly of God Church.

He died of leukemia in a Tulsa Hospital Monday after a 3-month illness.

Mr. BRASHEAR was formerly employed 14 years with Enardo Manufacturing Co. here; he was night foreman of the Firm's Foundry when he retired in 1954.

Born at St. Joseph, MO, he farmed near West Plains, MO before moving to Oklahoma.

Survivors include the widow, Lola; five sons, the Rev. Glen BRASHEAR, 629 S. 72rd West Ave., Cecil BRASHEAR, West Plains, Ralph and Wayne BRASHEAR, Both of Wichita, Kansas and Pvt. Donald BRASHEAR, Fort Riley, Kansas; five daughters, Mrs. Edith RABY, 509 W. 4th St. and Mrs. Minnie SHEETS, 4820 N. Garrison Pl, both of Tulsa, Mrs. Christine LEREMORE, Pryor, Mrs. Irene HOWELL, West Plains and Mrs. Ellen BALLEW, Pollock Pines, Calif.; 30 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren.

Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of R.L. Mobley Funeral Home, Sand Springs.
