North Union Cemetery, Grundy County, MO

This cemetery is located in Liberty Township; S35-T63N-R23W; it is about 1/4 mile west of NE 80th Av behind what was formerly the North Union Church. The church has been torn down or moved away, and even the foundation has been moved. In 1964, the outline of the foundation where the church stood was visible. It is not maintained and is overgrown with dense thorn bushes, weeds, and trees. The remnants of an old wire fence and metal gate are still visible in 1998. The cemetery was recorded in 1964 by Mrs. B. F. Hoover and Mrs. O. L. Livingston, and re-recorded in 1998 by Mr. Neil S. Smith and Mr. W. Elsworth Smith.
