Metcalf Cemetery, Grundy County, MO



Also known as Tate Cemetery or Metcalf-Tate Cemetery

This cemetery is located from Hwy 6, approximately 1/2 mile south on State Road W, west 1/2 mile on Elder Lane, north of the road in a pasture (cannot be seen from the road). Madison Township, S25-T61N-R25W, Grundy County, Missouri. The following information was recorded in 1963 by Mrs. B. F. Hoover and Mrs. John Sheets. There are approximately one hundred (100) native unmarked stones in the cemetery; in the North Central section is an unmarked grave, six (6) foot in length, outlined in native stone.
