Boswell Cemetery, Grundy County, MO

Also known as Mears Cemetery

This cemetery is located in Franklin Township; Sec 26-T63N-R24W. It is part of the road, about a mile in a pasture. The cemetery is poorly fenced and completely untended. Several graves are unmarked and funeral markers impossible to read. Thomas Boswell gave the plot (approximately 1 acre) for the cemetery. He lived in a little two-room house near by and he and wife Eliza are buried in the cemetery. The cemetery was recorded in 1964 by Mrs. Vernal Ralston, Mrs. Delbert Hasler and Mrs. B. F. Hoover.
