"Hall School was 4 miles due north of Jerico Springs, more specifically, it lay about one-half mile northwest of the Hall Cemetery which is on the Wagoner Road between Wagoner and Highway 97." The first records of this school are for the year 1895. The school had teachers and a board of directors until 1949.

"Johnson or Johnston as some say it should be called is located on Highway 39 across from Herriman's Church camp near Cedar Springs." 1870's -- 1953

Back Row, left is Wilma Simmons. Front, 5th from the left is Marjorie Simmons. They are the daughters of Lillie (Chism) & Warner Simmons.

"Wright is a flat-land district north and mostly west of Filley." The last teacher was Norine Watts, 1950-53.

"White Hall was on the north side of White Hall Road about two miles east of Virgil City." The last teacher was Lucille Phipps, 1949-51.
Coal Hill School, Feb. 1927, Zelma Manley near the back row has been identified.

"Coal Hill was in the middle of the coal mines less than a mile from St. Clair Co., near by is Lebeck, Cedar Spgs, El Dorado Spgs. Ralph Magnas was the last teacher, 1955."
